The climate crisis is the largest issue that this generation will have to face. It has the potential to cause long-lasting loss and damage even within areas that are not immediately obvious.

Ways of repair: loss and damage are seeking to address this, providing a year-long residency to artists in the UK who wish to explore this topic creatively. There are no provisions around the medium. Instead, the three successful applicants are encouraged to spend time exploring and developing their artistic and/or curatorial practice in dialogue with other like-minded cultural practitioners and academics.  A stipend of £10,000 is provided, as well as three tailored mentorship sessions with a practitioner relevant to the focus of their research.
