Located on Hurst Street, the National Trusts Back to Backs are the cities only surviving examples of back-to-back housing. The museum runs a variety of events and opportunities throughout the year and is currently advertising for its Summer Challenge.

The programme aims to provide the opportunity for young people ( aged 16-21) to gain practical skills and work experience in heritage. Successful applicants will work with members of the museum to create a brand new tour of the Back to Backs. There will also be opportunities to network with professionals (working across many areas of the Trust ) who will share their knowledge of conservation, programming, heritage management and more.
