The organisation has been kicking around since 2013 and centres arts and social justice within its every day practice. The organisation is currently hiring for several pro-rata positions that are listed below:
- Communications specialist– this position centres around storytelling, marketing and PR. (3 days a week, £30k pro rata, Birmingham or remote)
- Cultural organiser and leader– This position centres around curation and steward work (2.5 days a week, £30k pro rata, Birmingham)
- Land and spatial justice advocate, This position centres around the technical details around built environment projects, the successful applicants will co-ordinate and build relationships within communities and with stakeholders to make change happen (2.5 days a week, £30k pro rata, Birmingham).
- Freelance researcher / practitioner – The position will focus on regenerative economics and mutual aid, the successful applicant will undertake a short action research project exploring how MAIA supports the personal, structural and sustained capacities within our liberation movement (£5k freelance assignment, Birmingham).
