Birmingham Arts School is running a training weekend designed to prepare young people for
the responsibilities of being a Board member.
At the end of the weekend, participants will be placed with an arts organisation of their
choice, and provided with a mentor who will guide them through their first year with the
organisation. In previous years, the programme has seen participants join the Boards of
Birmingham Repertory Theatre, Fierce Festival, Midlands Arts Centre, Sampad, Coventry
Biennial, and many more.
